Overview
Maintain all buildings, grounds, equipment, vehicles, properties, etc. of the assigned property so the total physical environment is conducive to the goals of the program. Know, understand and implement department and agency policies, rules and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Know, understand and implement department and agency policies, rules and procedures.
- Assist with property turnover and follow appropriate procedures.
- Effectively communicate with other departments and program employees on matters related to work responsibilities.
- Participate in meetings with supervisor and other staff to address concerns/issues needing attention.
- Take responsibility for inventory control of maintenance supplies and utilization of maintenance equipment.
- Participate in orienting and informing new contractors of basic responsibilities and procedures, in collaboration with supervisor.
- Ensure continuing education in technical and building code advancement areas.
- Respond to calls to protect assets 24-hours a day as needed.
- Assures program participant privacy is maintained by being knowledgeable and following HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
- Must be able to work regularly scheduled working hours.
