Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Office Manager. As the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all front desk operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This is a key leadership role within our hotel, and we are looking for someone with strong hospitality management skills and a passion for delivering excellent service.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise front desk staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals
- Oversee night audit procedures to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Monitor occupancy levels and make adjustments to room assignments as needed
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations to guests
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
- Utilize phone systems and computer software to manage reservations, guest information, and billing processes
- Foster positive relationships with guests through effective communication and personalized service
- Assist with guest relations activities, including resolving conflicts or issues
Skills:
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using hotel management software systems
- Knowledge of night audit procedures and financial reporting
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is a plus
