Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting the administrative functions of our medical practice. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
- Perform patient service duties, including greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, and answering phone calls
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting patient information, medical history, and vital signs
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits and ensure cleanliness and organization
- Provide medical administrative support, such as handling insurance forms and obtaining authorizations
- Educate patients on proper self-care techniques and medication instructions

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency in performing vital signs measurements accurately
- Experience in medication administration is highly desired
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
