Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. This position requires knowledge of medical terminology, patient care procedures, and basic life support.

Responsibilities:

- Perform vital signs measurements such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

- Assist with patient examinations and procedures

- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests

- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems

- Assist with vaccines for children (TVFC)

- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and preventive care

- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training

- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems

- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

-Knowledge on TVFC vaccines is preferred

- Basic life support certification is required
