We are seeking 1 full-time Medical Assistant for our Rheumatology practice. If you enjoy working with a team that is fun, energetic and family spirited then this job is for you! This is an excellent opportunity for a Medical Assistant who is a quick learner, compassionate, enthusiastic, friendly, organized, and able to multi-task. eClinicalWorks experience is a plus. Rheumatology knowledge is a bonus!

Duties include:

• Rooming patients and obtaining vitals, medications and medical history
• Documentation in the EMR
• Obtaining records, lab and imaging results
• Prescription refills
• Provide injections, immunizations and other patient care services as ordered by the medical provider.
• Answering phones
• Scheduling patients
• Patient check-in and check-out, collecting copay
