Vita Inclinata Technologies is Hiring a Human Resources Manager (North America) Near Broomfield, CO

Description

Vita Inclinata is looking for a positive, upbeat, Human Resources Manager with strong interpersonal skills to serve as the first point of contact for Vita’s North American teams. Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of HR activities, including recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefit and LOA management, compliance, and HR administration.

Position will be located in Colorado.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Source candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, referrals, etc.) and conduct initial screenings.
  • Coordinate interviews, conduct background checks, and assist in making hiring decisions.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training programs. 

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances for various teams across North America
  • Conduct investigations into employee issues and conflicts and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and feedback mechanisms. 

Performance Management:

  • Support and lead the performance evaluation process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Assist in identifying training and development needs for employees to enhance their skills and performance. 

HR Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data, and other relevant documentation.
  • Stay updated on HR best practices and industry trends to recommend improvements to HR policies and procedures. 

HR Administration:

  • Manage HR-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, benefit enrollment forms, and leave requests.
  • Utilize HR data and analytics to assess HR metrics, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Additional Job Requirements

  • Percentage of time spent traveling 10% 

Subject to applicable laws and Vita Inclinata’s policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position. All employees must follow Vita Inclinatas’ employment practices and policies.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university and 3 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS systems is preferred, experience with Paylocity is a plus
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software Paylocity, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR-related tools.
  • Dependable team-player with a professional attitude.

Compensation

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the compensation for this role is $85,000 – 105,000 per year, however, Vita Inclinata Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
