DescriptionVita Inclinata is looking for an experienced and dedicated Production Manager to lead our manufacturing facility team. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly process, optimizing production efficiency, managing the production workforce, managing and enforcing facility safety program and ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained.
Production Manager oversees a production team, enacting and supporting safety, quality, process improvements, and production goals. Providing training and coaching of the employees within the department, and other duties as assigned. This position is responsible for working with other leaders in the business to achieve and maintain goals and deadlines.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Supervise and lead the manufacturing team, including hiring, training, and performance management to staff
  • Plan and organize daily production schedules to meet production targets and customer demands.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and efficient assembly processes.
  • Liaise with other departments, such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality and Operations, to coordinate activities and resolve any production-related issues.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze production data and metrics to optimize workflow, report KPIs and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all assembly shop employees by adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new hires
  • Other duties as assigned
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervises all levels of Assembly Technicians in the Production department. Carries out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, selecting, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. RequirementsQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Education & Experience
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 3 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • LEAN and/or 5S experience is a plus
  • High tech industry experience preferred
  • Experience with a production assembly environment required
  • Experience managing within OSHA/NIOSH safety regulations. OSHA certifications preferred
Skills
  • Ability to manage several projects concurrently
  • Manages resources, efforts, and timelines involved for projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration at all levels
  • Contributes to business sustained growth through leadership and functional expertise
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Computer Skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
CompensationIn compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the compensation for this role is $50,000 - $80,000 per year; however, Vita Inclinata Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
