Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Systems Engineer (multiple openings) in Austin, TX to analyze new hardware model specs against business requirements and work with vendors, stakeholders, and end users in the certification process to ensure applications meet business requirements as well as technical and security requirements. Test and certify new client-side hardware and drivers for compatibility and usability in the company's environment. Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks with Windows and Mac workstations. Evaluate new hardware releases, fixes, security, and driver updates and perform necessary. Provide necessary analysis reports on products evaluated and recommendations. Certify new models of docks, monitors, HUBs, external peripherals and validate their compatibility with existing and new model workstations. Create and maintain documentation for supported hardware to include detailed certification processes and procedures, products certified, certification scripts, QC and findings, installation, and maintenance scripts. Work with various support groups, technicians, and other SMEs in reviewing certifications of new hardware. Perform turnover procedures for certified applications. Log and track new hardware certification using defined processes. Provide third-level support on any hardware issues escalated by the first- or second- level Support. Assist with vulnerability remediation of drivers on workstations. Position reports to the Austin, Texas office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Rate of Pay:The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $118,893.00 USD to $158,600.00 USD per year. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
