As we continue our exciting growth, we are building teams with highly talented individual contributors and leaders who design, develop, and manufacture next-generation Portable energy systems . We are currently seeking a talented Development Manager / Responsible Engineer (RE) to join the team. In this role, you will lead a team in developing the latest in energy technologies. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Participate in early-stage product development and communicate expectations and ensure the successful capture of Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality/ Reliability, Test & Certification, Service/ Repair requirements.
• Ability to develop schedules for new product development from concept to launch,set milestones to program deliverables, assess & mitigate risks, develop action plans, coordinate activities and drive results within cross-functional teams
• Conduct regular project status meetings with project core team and relevant stakeholders to communicate and coordinate activities
• Deliver new products on-time, within budget, and at expected quality and reliability levels to the customers
• Serve as the central technical leader for cross functional teams including mechanical engineering, electrical hardware engineering, firmware engineering, and cloud/mobile software, quality/ reliability, manufacturing and supply chain/operations groups.
• Guide daily engineering tasks including schedule and resource prioritization, tracking the status and resolution of bug/issues until closed
• Facilitate initial build plans, drive material readiness with supply chain and evaluateconstraints
• Collaborate with the Engineering teams to solve technical problems and provide rapid prototyping support
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality teams to develop efficient methods for assembling and testing product
• In short, this role requires the candidate to roll up their sleeves and work with a sense of urgency

Required Experience: 

• BS or MS degree in EE or ECE equivalent relevant experience
• 10 years of experience or more in New Product Development (NPD) roles
• In depth experience in developing electronic products from concept to launch
• In depth knowledge of electrical circuits that includes one or more of the following: RF circuits, digital circuits, analog circuits, control circuits, switching, power management
• In depth understanding of system architecture and system design principles
• Familiarity and experience with UL certification standards for electric consumer products
• Familiarity with mechanical engineering design, tool development, injection molding, and sheet metal parts manufacturing
• In depth knowledge of NPD processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
• Strong team worker within multi-discipline and multi-cultural environments
• Capable of clear, accurate and timely communication both written and verbal

Desired experience: 

• Understanding of solar, energy storage, micro grid and renewable energy systems
• Experience in Inverter, UPS, Power Electronic circuits design and troubleshooting
• Hands-on Experience in handling the lab Electronic equipment
• Knowledge in Lithium Ion based Energy storage systems, Battery management system
• Experience in grid tied inverter validation and advance grid profile functions
