Position Summary: We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist/Talent Acquisition Specialist to provide broad-based HR support at our Aliquippa facility. This position supports the Office/HR Manager perform all activities related to payroll, human resources, and office administration. Responsible for Human Resource assistance in administrating policies and benefits and the recruiting of plant personnel.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Act as the secondary back up for all HR and payroll activities including maintaining the HRIS and payroll functions.
  • Assist in recruiting hourly and salary employees by way of phone interviews, social platforms, and walk-in candidates.
  • Assist in certain periodic corporate, governmental and internal reporting
  • Maintain the HR hard copy files as directed by the HR Manager.
  • Manages all payroll and 401k activities through third party administrator.
  • Oversees the processes and record keeping for Human Resource policies and procedures established by the company. Areas of responsibility include the management and protection of personnel files and record keeping and recording for all or some of the following areas: wage and salary administration, employment, benefits administration, equal employment opportunity, ADA, and special projects.
  • Works closely with legal counsel through President or CEO to stay informed of requirements regarding HR related company records and documents.
  • Responds to employee and management questions about Human Resource policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance on and assist with HR-related matters such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, people development, and time and attendance/payroll.
  • Drive the onboarding program including conducting new hire orientation and coordination with other departments.
  • Performs such other duties as the President, CEO or VP of Sales may deem necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
