We are looking for a full-time Assistant Human Resources Manager with 10 years of experience working as a human resources professional. In this position, you would collaborate with the Human Resources Manager to create and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs. You would also be responsible for providing day-to-day guidance and support to the organization regarding human resource functions, programs, and initiatives, overseeing benefits and wellness programs, leave administration, workers compensation, payroll, talent acquisition, development and performance management processes, employee relations, and personnel administration.

What You Will Do:

· Assists Human Resources Manager and supports the organization on day-to-day activities i.e., compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, training and development, maintenance of HRIS and other duties as assigned.

· Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.

· Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.

· Assists in the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

· Oversees benefits and leave administration duties i.e... FMLA, STD, LTD etc.

· Assists in analyzing trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

· Maintains learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.

· Maintains employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

· Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.

· Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.

· Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities.

· Tracking employee benefits such as merit increases, sick leave, vacation leave, other forms of leave benefits.

· Assist human resources manager with projects.

· When applicable, translate companywide for English and Spanish in all aspects of communication.

· Fielding incoming calls and guest as they arrive to the facility.

· Provide day-to-day human resources guidance and support to the employees and organization.

· Other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field preferred.

· Minimum 10 years of human resource experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting

· Minimum of 4 years as a long tenured employee.

· SHRM or HRCI certification/s desirable

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other programs are plus.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

· Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

· Knowledge of Paycor, and Epicor preferred.
