Overview

Operationalizes planning for, and response to, information security risk events as appropriate for the size, complexity and risk profile of the Bank. These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. Open to interviewing with candidates from other lines of business or industry.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and documentation of the Bank’s information security program, including information security risk assessment and threat identification, among other duties
• Implement the information security aspects of the Bank’s Vendor Management Program (VM), including periodic reviews and new vendor due diligence
• Document and track Information Security incidents
• Work closely with, support and consult with Information Security Officer (ISO), department peers, information technology and business lines to continually improve security posture for daily operations and new initiatives; verify that business processes are kept in-sync with security policies, standards and procedures
• Regularly document, test and verify operation of information security controls, including physical security, event and log monitoring, user and application reviews
• Collaborate with ISO to maintain data flow and network documentation and diagrams including cybersecurity controls
• Prepare information security reporting to ISO and management
• Actively participate in threat intelligence networks, including FS-ISAC
• Participates in job specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessary
• Work in dynamic, fast-paced environments that require regular team interaction and coordination of efforts

Qualifications

Job Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in scripting, preferably in python
• 5 years of experience in information security
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• CISSP or other security certifications
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
• Working knowledge of common information security standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skill and the ability to create technical reports
• Knowledge of vulnerability management best practices
• Ability to analyze system and network event logs for incident handling
• Knowledge of compliance, audit process, third-party risk assessments, and data privacy
