Job Description: The Role The Fidelity Enterprise Cybersecurity Client & Regulatory Engagement team is seeking an experienced analyst to assist in representing Fidelity’s cybersecurity program to regulatory bodies and clients. The analyst will understand the depth and breadth of Fidelity’s cybersecurity policies, practices, controls, and technologies in order to communicate Fidelity’s capabilities to clients and regulators in a manner that meets their expectations. The analyst will assess the impact of new laws and regulations on the ECS product lines, influencing product line managers to prioritize such mandates in their roadmaps. Success in this role will be demonstrated by strong partnerships with business unit compliance and relationship management teams, enterprise compliance, technology risk teams, and Fidelity Legal. Together with these partners, this role will win and retain business and meet regulators’ expectations. The Team The Enterprise Cybersecurity Client & Regulatory Response team is the “eyes and ears” for ECS on the legal and regulatory environment. It knows the laws and regulations which impact Fidelity’s many legal entities and it shares that knowledge with ECS Product Lines, who ensure that products satisfy applicable requirements. When regulators inquire about Fidelity’s cybersecurity policies and program, whether as part of a full-blown exam or an ad hoc request, the Client & Regulatory Response team works closely with the BU compliance teams to respond to the inquiry. The team makes sure that responses are accurate and consistent with recent past responses. The Client & Regulatory Response team also responds to requests from clients and prospects about Fidelity’s cybersecurity program. We work with the BU client relationship teams to supply comprehensive responses, assuring clients of the strength of the ECS program and establishing a sound foundation of trust and reliability. The Knowledge You Have Proven knowledge of cybersecurity functions and how they contribute to the ECS and Fidelity mission A background or strong interest in cybersecurity from a legal, risk or compliance standpoint; an ability to understand legislative proposals and to assess the impact to cybersecurity policies and practices Experience and knowledge managing projects end-to-end, with demonstrable ability to communicate progress effectively across multiple lines and levels Basic understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Framework core standards Bachelor’s degree in a technology or a computer science subject area a plus Cybersecurity certifications a plus Prior experience in a cybersecurity role (policy, operations, technology) or in a risk or compliance role a plus The Skills You Bring Excellent writer – respond to requests for information directly, clearly, and succinctly; able to explain complex legal and regulatory requirements to product lines and ECS management in an actionable manner Ability to quickly establish trust and a positive rapport with ECS business partners and BU collaborators; exceed customer expectations for speed and quality of responses Independent worker; high sense of ownership; “focus and finish” attitude Influence product lines to prioritize regulatory work in product roadmaps and backlogs Ability to manage multiple priorities independently; proactive approach to defining and resolving issues Ability to effectively facilitate and follow up on business meetings; present information to groups with the appropriate degree of formality Data analysis and synthesis; working knowledge of MS-Excel The Value You Deliver Help to win and retain business by demonstrating the depth and breadth of Fidelity’s cybersecurity program Manage regulatory inquiries in a manner which minimizes risk for Fidelity Provide excellent customer service for Fidelity’s compliance and relationship management professionals Center of excellence and expertise for legal and regulatory requirements Certifications: Category: Information Technology At Fidelity, we are passionate about making our financial expertise broadly accessible and effective in helping people live the lives they want!
