Job Overview:

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in supporting our sales department by executing various tasks to drive sales growth and maintain strong customer relationships. You will work closely with wholesale partners, implement sales strategies, develop sales leads and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales leads for Veritas Fine Cannabis and GALYNA, focusing on targeted business sectors and locations as directed.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing dispensary partners.
  • Identify and pursue new dispensary partner opportunities as directed.
  • Execute brand-specific sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate customer profiles and licensing information in Hubspot software to ensure compliance.
  • Collect and update licensing information for customers to comply with regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to provide insights on quarterly marketing strategy.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, providing detailed product information and handling complaints with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and goals.
  • Assist in delivering processing deliveries.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures regarding sales transactions and customer interactions.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of products and services to effectively assist customers.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to customers.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance sales skills.
  • Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Google Workspace applications
  • Experienced with hubspot, salesforce or similar CRM service.
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accountability.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to identify actionable solutions.
  • Team player with the willingness to take on tasks of all sizes.
  • Responsive and proactive in meeting customer needs.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of cannabis products, processes, and market trends preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
