Ventus Executive Solutions (VES) is seeking a Technical Program Analyst with experience in submarine nuclear propulsion in support of the AUKUS program. This position involves impactful work as part of a great team. AUKUS is the term for the joint Australia, UK and US program to supply the Royal Australian Navy with conventionally armed, nuclear powered attack submarines.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience supporting submarine programs. The person in this role will be providing engineering and technical support for AUKUS.The candidate will develop and update technical data, standards, and specifications for submarines.AUKUS is an ambitious, long-term project, and this is great opportunity to start at the beginning.
The anticipated work location is in Washington DC, with potential for light telework. Travel: less than 10%.
Required Experience:
·Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in naval systems, cost analysis, and systems integration
·US Navy submarine operations and sustainment experience
·Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
·Ability to prioritize work based on deadlines and expectations of different projects
·SECRET clearance
Desired Experience:
·Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
·Experience with providing technical guidance and recommendations to program managers.
·Navy requirements generation
·Ability to collaborate with other naval commands as well as external partners, including industry or foreign allies
