Our portfolio includes full-service restaurants and delivery/takeout concepts, including the renowned Juliet restaurant. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team and ensure the smooth operations.
Job Overview:
As the Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in many aspects of the restaurant's operations in both an administrative and hands on roll to ensure the operations are supported. You will work closely with the General Managers and Executive Chefs to ensure all goals are met on proper timelines and projects get completed properly.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Systems & Facilities Maintenance:

• Assist with facilities management systems.
• Toast (POS) maintenance and analysis.
• R365 Menu & recipe management
• Open table management
• Eventbrite for ticketed and RSVP events
• In House website maintenance and updates
• Teamworks project management system
• Lead on implementation of new systems and training.

2. Vendor Management:

• Work with the team and the COO to be sure the vendors provide best possible service to our operation.
• Coordinate with the teams to be sure vendors are properly set in R365.

3. Cost Management

• Work with the Operations teams to manage to budget
• Review period costs with Chefs and GM’s and Accounting.
• Provide regular reports on budget status to senior management

4. Leadership:

• Work cross functionally with Chefs, GMs, marketing and accounting to assist in special projects and achieving goals.
• Assist in team job posting, hiring, and new hire onboarding.[JS1] – is this R365?
• Menu coordination between outlets and marketing
• Printing and distribution coordination between Marketing and all locations front of house staff
• Assist COO in keeping the Ops teams on task to meet goals.
• Project Management – assist in setting up project schedules and tracking tasks

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in management, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of restaurant POS, inventory systems and some accounting.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for the roll out of new programs and special events.
