Vascular Center of Northern Mi is Hiring a Medical Front Desk Receptionist Near Traverse, MI

The Vascular Center of Northern Michigan is growing! Apply to join this dynamic medical group located on the west side of Traverse City. We offer health insurance and a matching retirement plan. Both full time and part time positions available. Our office closes early each Friday, allowing for a nice work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the clinic

- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff

- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar

- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or patient payments

-Perform basic billing actions like creating claims and entering charges

- Maintain patient records and update necessary information

- Assist with tasks such as faxing and scanning documents

Qualifications:

- Familiarity with eClinical Works EMR system and PowerChart preferred

- Previous medical office experience is preferred but not required

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

- Communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
