Vantage is Hiring a Customer Service Specialist Near Chicago, IL

Job Overview:
The Customer Service Specialist handles order inquires via telephone, post shipment of merchandise to consumer. The goal of the Customer Service Specialist is to attempt customer satisfaction on the initial contact by the customer. If inquires are complex, problems should be forwarded to Customer Support or the appropriate department for resolution. Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering and/or troubleshooting. Requires knowledge of the organization’s policies, products and/or services.

Responsiblities:

  • Receives, responds, and returns inbound phone calls.
  • Screens incoming telephone calls to determine customer needs and to facilitate timely and appropriate services.
  • Determines customer needs and responds in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Also coordinates, plans, and organizes the day-to-day operations and administrative matters to support the goals and objectives for the Branch.
  • Assists in the coordination and management of administrative matters and handles confidential information.
  • Works under general direction.

Salary:

Salary: $23.60 per hour / $47,500 annually
Salary with a Bachelor's Degree: $25.00 per hour / $50,500 annually

Many associates see a base salary increase of 10% within their first year as a Customer Service Representative. Top associates can see increases up to 15%!

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience providing outstanding customer service by showcasing expertise, fostering trust and growing customer satisfaction
  • An effective communicator who understands the importance of listening and being empathetic
  • Ability to work and grow in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
  • Willingness to learn new skills and ability to adjust to changes quickly
  • Open to feedback to support your performance and development
  • Solid computer and multi-tasking skills
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; college degree or currently pursuing preferred
