U.S. Legal Support is Hiring a Customer Service Specialist Near Chicago, IL

Are you dependable, resilient, and responsible? Do you have a client-focused outlook and great critical thinking skills? 

U.S. Legal Support seeks a Customer Service Specialist that communicates effectively, has a keen eye for detail, and a problem solver. A Customer Service Specialist for U.S. Legal Support to facilitate the receipt of records for the Opposing Counsel of each of the orders we received. Employee will assist in processing incoming mail, sorts, codes and classifies records into our systems. 

If you possess these qualities, consider joining our legal service team in an onsite role in Chicago, Illinois! 

 Customer Service Specialist Key Responsibilities

  • Contacts opposing counsel by phone or email to offer records for purchase
  • Discuss pricing and authorization
  • Offer the option of purchasing the same set of records we provide the order by firm when the record arrives
  • Review Signed waivers stipulating which parts of the orders to be received corresponding records.
  • Submits orders on behalf of opposing counsel
  • Retrieve and route requested files or filing
  • Maintain accurate checkout system
  • Interface with other staff members for the purpose of support / exchanging information
  • Answer the Records dept. Line and e-mail regarding orders
  • Quality check all documents before going out the door

Requirements

All you need to be a Customer Service Specialist is 2 years of equivalent work history. A high school diploma is required. Litigation support (record retrieval) experience is a plus!
