```Duties```
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Register new patients and update existing patient information in the electronic medical records system
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and route calls to appropriate staff members
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for medical services
- Collect co-payments and process payments for services rendered
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with medical records management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (e.g., Dentrix, eClinicalWorks)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
