We are seeking a skilled customer service representative to join our team our two amazing CSR's here at Van Crest Animal Hospital. CSR's are an important part of any veterinary team and are the face of the clinic. You will be the first person pets and their parents see on the way in and the last person they see on the way out. Your positive attitude will make their visit all the more comfortable. We would like someone who is great with multi-tasking, stressful situations, and someone who has a can-do attitude. REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1 year experience working at a front desk in customer service.
• Previous veterinary experience(1 or more years) preferred and given priority
• Well-spoken and positive attitude
• Ability to adapt and be flexible to change
• Maintain professionalism in stressful situations
• Be prompt and courteous
• Have a love for all animals
• Ability to count and handle cash properly
• Must be proficient in typing

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process payments for clients
• Check-in and check out as patients come in
• Some light cleaning is required
• Dusting, sweeping, etc.
• Answer phones promptly and professionally
• Update charts as needed
• Assist vet, techs, and assistants with various tasks as needed
• answer emails and text messaing
• fill prescriptions
• office administration duties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
