POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 year of previous experience working in a veterinary practice or sufficient experience for below listed skills is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassion and sympathy in delicate situations with pet parents
• Maintain professional attitude in stressful situations
• Skill with technology preferred (i.e. phones, computers, etc.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a clean, healthy, and positive environment for pets and their owners.
• Assist vets and licensed techs with appointments and prepping for procedures.
• Proactively set up any equipment or tools for the vet to use on the patient.
• Fill prescriptions
• Perform diagnostic imaging
• Perform laboratory work
• Provide compassionate care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.54 - $17.51 per hour
