Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial records and transactions. This is a key role that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Five plus years of full charge bookkeeping experience (preferably in a retail setting).
Duties:
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial statements
- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy
- Prepare and process journal entries
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Generate financial reports for management review
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
- Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and best practices
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with account analysis and reconciliation
- Familiarity with tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
