Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: This role will be responsible for owning the non-trade related revenue processes and accounting, including the unsaleables program, royalty income, SAB104 adjustments, commission program and other revenue and OTC related areas. In this role you will gain a deep understanding of revenue accounting and financial reporting controls as well as be responsible for managing two direct reports. This role will also play a critical role in leading various initiatives as we reimagine how we work and drive for a faster, simpler and bolder organization. This role will have the opportunity to interact with various cross-functional teams, including Office of Strategic Alliances, OTC, field sales finance, and unsaleables team. In this role, you will: Lead execution of the monthly and quarterly close processes for non-trade revenue accounting including managing a team of two direct reports(30%) Manage internal control over commission process and non-trade revenue areas. Lead execution of quarterly activities such as new contract reviews, customer certification, and royalty revenue (20%) Drive value creation by reimagining how we work in Sales accounting, including identifying opportunities and implementing changes to be more effective and efficient (20%) Manage the Pay Broker Commissions accounting and process, including broker and commissions rate changes and commissions statements, (15%) Provide technical support (US GAAP accounting guidance) to business unit partners including the SBUs and sales organization (10%) Other ad hoc projects/requests (5%) What we look for: 4 years of accounting and finance experience A mix of public and industry experience is preferred Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statements with ability to do accounting research as needed Strong internal control mindset Proficient in PC applications (e.g. Excel, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint) High data integrity and attention to detail resulting in consistent, reliable and accurate work product Strong written and oral communication skills Solid interpersonal skills SAP experience preferred Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize Flexible, adaptable, and proactive Solid analytical skills Ability to identify and implement process improvements with a solution oriented mindset Ability to influence cross-functional teams (within Corporate Accounting, Finance, sales, etc.) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance CPA license or international equivalent preferred (or demonstrated progress towards licensure) Workplace type: We seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences.
