We are looking for a materials manager to lead our expansion into the new Greenville, TX manufacturing plant. See our news release here: http://www.orbiscorporation.com/en-us/news/orbis-new-greenville-texas-facility/ The Materials Manager manages and supervise all aspects of the materials department including inventory control, procurement, production scheduling, and distribution, to ensure proper forecasting and timely shipments of customer orders. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day operations of the plant supply chain, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, production scheduling and procurement. Oversee the execution of procurement and scheduling to ensure service metrics and customer demands are met. Manage inventory control programs across all material types to ensure accurate inventory and drive inventory reductions. Manage plant inventory investments including liquidating obsolete inventory, monitoring and improving inventory turns and management of stock levels. Oversee the shipping and receiving functions to optimize flow while facilitating a working warehouse and off-site warehouse, when applicable. Facilitate and execute continuous improvement activities. Other duties as assigned. Education/Certification: Required Bachelor’s Degree APICS CPIM Desired Master’s Degree Work Experience: Required 5-10 years of relevant work experience 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing Desired 2-5 years of experience in a plastics or fabrication environment Travel Requirement: 5% - 10% travel Valid driver's license required / Motor Vehicle Report required #LI-EE1 Two companies, one vision.
