Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred and 4 or more years of relevant experience and practical knowledge in US import compliance required; • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum; • License Customs Broker, Preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and similar software applications. • Knowledge of the FTR and CBP regulations. Knowledge of export regulations (i.e. ITAR, EAR) a plus • Specifically, experience with: o Tariff Classification o Country of Origin Determination o Custom's Valuation o Broker Management o Post Summary Corrections o Automated Commercial Environment Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: • Good communication skills, both written and verbal; • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with and through global, cross-functional teams; • Excellent time-management skills, especially a strong ability to organize multiple projects at one time and prioritize among them; • Awareness of industry trends; • Research skills to perform legal research; • Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals; • Ability to work in a team atmosphere; • Organized, detailed and business oriented; & • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.Full Time
