We are looking for a technical manager to lead our expansion into the new Greenville, TX manufacturing plant. See our news release here: http://www.orbiscorporation.com/en-us/news/orbis-new-greenville-texas-facility/ The Technical Manager manages all aspects of the technical department including managing maintenance costs, contractor-performed maintenance, regular and preventive maintenance, and new equipment installations and improvements. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Build, lead, and train a cohesive team for technical employees focused on company objectives of safety, quality, service, and efficiency. Drive and apply lean principles to the maintenance processes to minimize waste and increase the throughput. Use data collection processes to evaluate unplanned downtime and implement corrective actions to drive metric improvements. Maintain spend forecast and approve monthly R&M spend for the facility. Organize, lead, and track capital projects. Maintain production standards and measurement systems as required. Other duties as assigned. Education/Certification: Required Bachelor’s Degree – Technical Management or Plastics Engineering RJG Training Certifications - Systematic I & II Desired Master's Degree Work Experience: Required 5-10 years of relevant work experience 2-5 years of experience in a plastics or fabrication environment Travel Requirements: 5% - 15% travel Valid driver's license required / Motor Vehicle Report required #LI-EE1 Two companies, one vision.
