Administrative Assistant, Compliance Department
Summary
Perform a variety of administrative duties to support the Director of Compliance, Title IX and Disability Coordinator. This is a 12-month, part-time position, working approximately 18 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and help assist with the College’s online training platform (Sexual Assault Prevention, Harassment and Discrimination, Hazing and Drugs/Alcohol Prevention), including developing database of students, faculty, and staff for the training; sending initial notifications; follow-up on individuals with incomplete status; generate prevention data reports. Administrative support to include general office support including correspondence, flyers, copying, scanning, filing, office supplies. Serves as notetaker and transcriber for Title IX meetings and investigative interviews. Assist with information gathering for the Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Reports.
Assists with virtual and in-person training of faculty, staff, and students by updating training materials, hosting informational tables at student events, updating power point presentations. Serves as technical assistant for virtual presentations. Assists in student training called “Title IX Town Halls” and may assist with roleplaying and drafting scenarios/hypotheticals.
Qualifications
Associate degree and at least 3 years of office experience, preferably working in higher education, a compliance department, legal setting or familiarity with Title IX and ADA requirements. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated experience working in an inclusive community that serves underrepresented populations; excellent organizational skills, including proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and databases. Experience in handling confidential information; ability to manage multiple projects.
