Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Have knowledge and experience with the maintenance of some of the following facilities systems : mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, building interiors, building envelopes, fire protection systems, access control systems, and lab and dining equipment.
Develop and implement the concepts and practices of reliability-centered maintenance ( RCM ), conditions-based maintenance ( CBM ), ongoing commissioning and preventative maintenance (PM) for university facilities maintenance.
Develop maintenance management processes for the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Develop and recommend the employment of condition monitoring techniques including vibration analysis, ultrasonic, thermographic, and oil analysis, and the use of standard building automation systems.
Facilitate Failure Mode and Effects Analysis with maintenance personnel.
Facilitate Root Cause Analyses with maintenance personnel.
Create and manage Preventive Maintenance procedures and schedules in the Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
Develop and implement ongoing building commissioning processes for maintenance shops.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience / Education :
Required Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications
Graduation from a four year college or university and at least three years of program associate experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience
Graduation from a two-year college and 5 years' experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent education and experience.
Skilled in the use of spreadsheets and a Computerized Maintenance Management System to manage maintenance and analyze performance.
Possess a basic understanding of building design and overall commercial building equipment and maintenance.

Facilitate Root Cause Analyses with maintenance personnel.
Develop and implement ongoing building commissioning processes for maintenance shops.
Experience with spreadsheets and data analysis.
