The Payer Operations Manager (POM) will report to the Director of Payer Contracting and Value Based Programs (DPCVBP). This position in collaboration with practice leadership is responsible for tracking and management of provider registration, attestation and Meaningful Use payments and audits. The POM in collaboration with the DPCVBP, is responsible for the successful planning and execution of all FPI practice projects related to EQIP, ECIP, MD PCP, PCMH and MIPS program registration and attestation for all eligible clinicians (EC’s). This includes the coordination, monitoring, and status reporting of all objective and clinical measures required to demonstrate an EC’s achievement of quality metric reporting thresholds. The POM also works closely with the DPCVBP to lead the administration of commercial and governmental payers to bring operational issues to resolution and report findings back to the practices. The POM must utilize strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface and communicate with external vendors and payers, practice leaders, physicians, and other providers, practice staff, FPI ITM and Practice Operations Departments and other partners involved with quality reporting and payer operational issues including other duties as assigned.
