Faculty Physicians is Hiring an Associate Director Practice Operations: Cardiac and Vascular Surgery Near Baltimore, MD

Responsible for the coordination, leadership and administration of assigned administrative /medical practices. Manages clinical, business office and other administrative functions of an ambulatory site, which may consist of a large single service, multiple practices or multiple services; and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree from a four-year college or university or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • At least 5 years of previous management experience

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Responsible for supporting, implementing of new practices.

2. Provides coordination of onboarding for new faculty and staff within the clinical practice locations.

3. Oversees and directs the implementation of departmental objectives, polices, and process to create standardization.

4. Coordinates and integrates services within the department with other departments, and with the System’s primary functions. Participates in the selection of outside services, if needed.

5. Continuously assesses and improves the department’s performance. Maintains appropriate control/assessment programs (if applicable).

6. Implements trainings and actively utilizes improvement strategies and tools to positively impact all aspects of operations.

7. In cooperation with departmental leadership, manages all on-site activities in such a way that promotes the satisfaction and welfare of the patients visiting the site.

8. Facilitates the purchasing of supplies, pharmaceuticals and office goods by working collaboratively with vendors. Assists in the selection of outside services; resolves issues related to services provided by outside vendors.

9. Works in partnership with Practice Operations Director and Divisions leadership to solve problems, resolves conflicts, enhances operations, and quality and safety.
