Job Summary
The Director of Business Development oversees the provision of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Marketing Department. The Director of Business Development is responsible for achieving the desired utilization of the organization's continuum of care through the effective application of marketing principles and methods.
As a member of the facility management team, the Director of Business Development is actively involved in strategic planning, sales and marketing management, identification of potential growth opportunities, future projects, changing in programing/protocols, recruitment and retention.

The mental health hospital's 80 beds accommodate adolescents and adults. The two-story patient wing has expansive windows to take advantage of the surrounding views and create open and bright patient areas. The campus also features a one-story building for therapy, education, dietary and administrative purposes. The six-acre campus is adjacent to a 123-acre Audubon Wildlife and Bird Sanctuary, which is held in perpetuity and cannot be developed from its natural state. This provides Springwoods with a peaceful setting for those embarked on the road to recovery.

QualificationsJob Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field required. Masters of Business Administration or related field highly preferred. Experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree. Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred. Five years minimum experience in organizational communications, referral development, workshop planning, sales management, and physician relationships preferred. A valid Driver's License is required.
