PositionOverview :

We are currently seekinga detailoriented and skilled Multifamily Porter. The idealcandidate will be responsible for ensuring the physical conditionof new rental units meets company standards performing variousmaintenance tasks including tile installation sheet rock anddrywall repairs painting touchups carpet patching or replacementand assisting the maintenance team as needed.

Effectivecommunication and organizational skills are essential for updatingthe Service Manager on progress and addressing any unsafeconditions promptly.

Ensure thephysical condition of new rental units meets companystandards.

Install tile and perform minor sheetrock and drywall repairs.

Touchup paint tomaintain the aesthetic appeal of theproperty.

Patch repair or replace carpet asnecessary.

Assist other maintenance team memberswhen required.

Maintain awareness of propertycondition and address any unsafe conditionsimmediately.

Schedule and perform routinepreventive maintenance on equipment asdirected.

Diagnose and perform minor or routinemaintenance or repairs as directed.

Transferappliances and equipment from storage to apartments asneeded.

Assist in moving abandoned furnitureappliances etc. to thedumpster.

What Youll Need toSucceed :

Clear understanding ofbusiness concepts processes and strategic thinkingprinciples.

Ability to access all apartment homesand community areas for varioustasks.

Proficiency in maintenance tasks includingcarpentry electrical plumbing HVAC systems painting drywall buffingwaxing and use of power tools.

Strongcommunication skills in English (reading writing speaking andlistening).

Must provide own tools whereapplicable.

13 years of experience in PropertyManagement.

HVAC certificationpreferred.

High School Diploma or GEDrequired.
