This position is located in the Visitors Services Section within the Department of Global Communications at UN Headquarters in New York. Visitors Services encompasses guided tours, public inquiries and the speakers' bureau/briefings at United Nations Headquarters in New York. Each year nearly half a million people from around the world experience the UN Visitor Centre. The Treasury Clerk supports the Guided Tours Operation as a member of the Administrative Unit and reports to the Senior Administrative Assistant. This temporary position is available effective immediately through 31 July 2024, with the possibility of an extension.
