Summary: The purpose of this position is to work proactively with the Human Resources Manager in the implementation of human resources strategies, initiatives and policies. The Human Resources Coordinator will work in conjunction with the manager and when required act in their absence as appropriate. An integral part of this position is the development of sound working relationships with all employees within the plant to promote a culture that values operational excellence.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, collective agreements, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
