Position Overview: We are seeking a self-motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by expanding our market presence, building strong relationships with sales representatives, dealers, engineers, and general contractors, and generating new business opportunities for UIG Tanks brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact sales representatives and dealers to promote and sell UIG Tanks brands, ensuring effective distribution and market penetration.
- Reach out to engineers and general contractors to secure prequalification for UIG Tanks products in upcoming projects.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation activities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Represent UIG Tanks at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and social media to promote our products and services.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
- Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to anticipate market needs and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably in the industrial or construction sector.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed. Both nationally and internationally.
