ABOUT THE JOB

Under the general supervision of the Managing Director (MD), the Business Operations Manager (BOM) is responsible for the overall success of the assigned field office - projects and initiatives, and day-to-day office operations management, including billing, communications, investment management, compliance, and technology.

• Supports and promotes a positive team culture, including change management.
• Communicates, promotes, and supports company initiatives to team including leveraging firm communications and updates.
• Conducts and facilitates staff meetings with team regularly. 
• Attends one-on-one meetings with Managing Director(s) and keeps the MD abreast of pertinent operational information/issues. 
• Serves as the operation and escalation expert liaison with custodians, corporate departments, and third-party vendors.
• Ensures Salesforce is properly used and maintained by team. 
• Monitors open opportunities and works with Wealth Advisors and/or Relationship Managers to complete in a timely manner.
• Partners with MD to ensure fulfillment of delivery of service requirements for all clients.
• Ensures local office follows firm compliance standards and protocols.
• Manages and oversees the compliance annual review process, Quarterly Office Review Form, risk management and pre-approvals, AUM, licenses, ADV oversight, Trade Error tracing and resolution.

• Manages and oversees the fee audit process. 
• Partners with MD on preparation and creation of annual budget and oversees and manages local office budget including P&L, improving net revenue, and tracking advice revenue.
