Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator

About the Role: 

Unite Us is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to provide best-in-class administration and support services to Unite Us teammates. The Senior Systems Administrator must have experience with Google Workspace, MDM solutions, IAM technology (Okta experience preferred), network solutions, Apple hardware & software, endpoint protection solutions, and strong troubleshooting skills. The primary role of the Senior Systems Administrator is to provide internal operations support and is under the supervision of the IT Manager. This includes the administration and support of both hardware and software as it relates to enterprise technology, maintaining and managing installed and cloud-hosted SaaS applications, and desktop-based operating systems deployed within the company.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as a technical expert in the area of system administration for a remote-first company
• Integrate and maintain applications with the IAM solution, with a focus on application health and RBAC standards
• Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices and compliance policy
• Identify and implement opportunities for onboarding, offboarding, and crossboarding efficiencies
• Leverage the enterprise technology management solution to monitor application utilization, licensing, and lifecycle management
• Develop and maintain documentation about current environment setup, standard operating procedures, and best practices
• Oversee software and license installation, patch management, and maintenance of IT-owned applications and systems
• Collaborate with Security Operations and application stakeholders in accordance with company security policies and best practices
• Monitor, analyze, and resolve office infrastructure vulnerabilities and SAAS application deployment issues
• Regularly review existing systems and making make recommendations for improvements
• Provide escalated Help Desk support for advanced troubleshooting
• Engage in training opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge in key areas, such as Identity and Access Management, networking, and operating systems 

You’re a great fit for this role if:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, or 6 years of relevant work experience
• You have a strong understanding and knowledge of computers, network, and security systems
• You have contributed to a scalable RBAC model in an Identity and Access Management solution
• You have experience in IT operations, including implementations of ITIL best practices
• You have knowledge and/or experience with Apple hardware and software (macOS/iOS); MDM experience
• You have experience supporting service desk teams
• You can troubleshoot escalated team member technical issues in a professional and supportive manner.
• You can problem-solve complex IT issues
• You have proven experience in supporting IT infrastructure and services
• You have the ability to handle communications professionally during all interactions
• You have a strong customer service focused attitude

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:

• This position is remote, U.S. based
• The target pay range for this role is: $85,000-92,5000. This salary range represents our national target range for this role. Some geographic areas may have higher target ranges.
• This position may require 10% travel 
• All team members will be required to pass a background check which includes criminal, employment, and education verification 
• This position requires ITIL 4 Certification or the ability to obtain the certification within 90 days
