Job Title: Senior Data Systems Administrator

Position Summary:

The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) is seeking top talent for its Senior Data Systems Administrator position. An experienced Salesforce administrator, this position is pivotal in managing and optimizing our Salesforce CRM platform. The role involves maintaining data accuracy, conducting user training, customizing system configurations, managing security, and developing reports and dashboards. Success in this role involves building and maintaining relationships with our key technology stakeholders and end users. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong Salesforce administration foundation who are passionate about leveraging technology to support organizational goals.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder engagement: fosters good working relationships with teams using Salesforce by understanding their needs and helping them map their business processes onto our CRM technology
  • User Training and Support: Lead training sessions for staff; develop comprehensive user documentation; provide ongoing support and resolve Salesforce-related issues
  • Data Management: Ensure high data quality, including deduplication and data cleanliness; manage data import/export and backup processes
  • Vendor Liaison: Serve as a primary contact for Salesforce vendors and consultants
  • System Configuration: Customize Salesforce to align with business needs, including adjustments to fields, page layouts, workflows, custom objects, and formulas
  • Security Management: Oversee user permissions, roles, and access controls; ensure compliance with data security regulations
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Create and maintain complex reports and dashboards; analyze data trends to inform decision-making
  • Process Automation: Utilize tools like Process Builder and Flow for business process efficiency; manage workflow rules and system triggers
  • Integration Management: Handle integrations with external systems and applications
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor system performance; implement corrective actions and continual system improvements
  • May be responsible for providing guidance to peers on routine tasks
  • Stay Current with Updates: Keep abreast of Salesforce updates and ensure smooth transition and adoption of new features

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in Salesforce administration and system optimization
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data visualization and analytics platforms
  • Excellent training and communication skills for effective training and user support
  • Experience in managing data security and compliance within Salesforce
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external vendors

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000. In addition to salary, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF) offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • 15 options for medical insurance (with MJFF paying 90 percent of the premiums)
