Summary – The Senior HR Systems Administrator will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining all of Human Resource Information Systems to ensure accurate and efficient HR data management and reporting. This includes but not limited to HRIS security, business intelligence, system configurations and integrations, data integrity and all other aspects related to employee lifecycle.

The role will lead and support the firm’s multi-year HR technology transformation on top of being accountable for processing employee data changes, preparing standard and ad-hoc reports and researching and resolving systems issues. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new employees.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the HR Systems Administrator.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations and feedback.

Responsibilities:

HRIS:

  • Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, Information Technology, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
  • Represent HRIS in all future projects that impact HR technologies and will improve efficiency and effectiveness of processes. Roll out new applications, recommend system design and configuration changes.
  • Build or contribute to project plans related to HR implementations. Design, build, test and roll out all HR application.
  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of the current HRIS, which may include customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
  • Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
  • Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
  • Supports HR teams in facilitation of all HR processes managed by technologies. i.e., employee new hire onboarding, time entry, payroll processing, feedback process and recruiting.
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
  • Processes employee data changes and prepares and loads data interface files with benefit and payroll data to applicable vendors. Maintain and update employee schedules, training of new managers, on timesheet approval and payroll submission process, as well as providing technical support to managers and employees.

Reporting:

  • Utilize the firm’s HRIS report writing tool to prepare ad-hoc, monthly and quarterly management reports and assist in completing various external surveys.

Other Duties and Projects:

  • Under direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer and Human Resources Manager, complete, support or lead HR related tasks or projects which may be related to any functional area of HR.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience in project planning. Full proficiency and understand of technology project lifecycle.
  • Experience in change management and communications preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software such as Excel and Visio.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
  • Ability to keep information confidential.
  • Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.

Qualifications:

  • Seven to ten years of related experience required. College degree preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Compensation:

The expected salary range for this position ranges from $130,000 - $160,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
