Position: Sales and Service Coordinator

We are hiring a Customer Service Representative to manage customer queries. You will also be asked to process orders, modifications, and escalate complaints across several communication channels. To do well in this role you need to be able to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment and have experience working with computers.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels.
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
  • Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions and upsell.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues, as necessary.
  • Provide customer quotes via email or over the phone.
  • Process new orders once a PO is received.
  • Track order progress and provide customer updates.
  • Notify customers daily on what they have staged in will call ready for pick up, via email or text.
  • Handle all drivers when they come to pick up product for our customers.
  • Various daily data entry in our computer programs.

General Skills Needed:

Must be very detail oriented and able to keep accurate records. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Customer service, receptionist duties like greeting people, answering the phone, and opening mail, understand how to use Outlook and other basic Microsoft programs, experience with distributor or manufacturing software is a plus (P21 or Sage), bilingual is a plus (Spanish), needs to be comfortable in a construction/manufacturing environment. Inside sales experience not required but a plus.

Customer Service Representative Role Requirements:

  • DETAIL ORIENTED
  • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to stay calm and problem solve under pressure.
  • Comfortable using telephone and computers.
  • Experience working with customer support.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
