Our staffing agency is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative on behalf of our client, a leading transportation company, located in Laurel, MD, dedicated to providing reliable and efficient logistics solutions.

With a focus on safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction, our client delivers exceptional service across various transportation sectors.

You will play a key role in handling inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating transportation services to meet client needs and expectations.

Location : Laurel, MD

Schedule : Monday-Friday

Pay : $19-$22 / hourly based on experience

Responsibilities :

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Receive and process customer orders, accurately enter data into the system and coordinate with internal teams to fulfill requests.
• Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to customers, ensuring transparency and peace of mind throughout the transportation process.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, discrepancies, and service issues promptly and professionally, seeking satisfactory outcomes for all parties involved.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, order details, and service agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to optimize transportation routes, schedules, and resource allocation, maximizing efficiency and minimizing delays.

Qualifications :

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach and a focus on professionalism and courtesy.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Proficiency in computer systems, including CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant applications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
