Job Title : Press Brake Operator

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of press brake machines to produce precision metal components according to specifications.

This role requires a strong understanding of metal fabrication, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities :

• Machine Set-Up :
• Configure and set up press brake machines based on job specifications and product requirements.Select and install appropriate tooling for each job.
• Machine Operation :
• Operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates.Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed to ensure accuracy.
• Quality Control :
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet design specifications.Make necessary adjustments to maintain precision and quality standards.
• Material Handling :
• Load raw materials into the machine and unload finished products.Safely handle and store materials to prevent damage.
• Blueprint Interpretation :
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.Follow detailed instructions to produce accurate and high-quality components.
• Maintenance :
• Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines, including cleaning and lubrication.Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions for timely repairs.
• Safety Compliance :
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Efficiency Improvement :
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.Collaborate with team members to implement best practices.

Qualifications :

• Experience :
• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator in a metal fabrication environment.
• Technical Skills :
• Proficient in the set-up and operation of press brake machines.Familiarity with various metals, gauges, and thicknesses.
• Blueprint Reading :
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Attention to Detail :
• High level of precision and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Mechanical Aptitude :
• Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Physical Fitness :
• Ability to lift, carry, and manipulate heavy metal sheets.
• Safety Awareness :
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
