Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a growing company in Southeast Austin and our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team! In this role, you will provide day-to-day support to our Accounting Department with a variety of tasks, daily. Ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a working knowledge Accounts Receivables; Invoicing, posting payments, collection calls, and accounting software. If you love the process of tracking invoices and resolving accounts for our customers, you are the person we are looking for!

$20-$23/HR DOE

Monday-Friday | 8AM-5PM

Flexible! Open to - Part Time/Full-Time

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Customer-Centric driven and ability to listen and resolve, accordingly
• Process incoming mail concerning billing and invoicing
• Communicate with clients about billing discrepancies and questions
• Work with shipping department to ensure accurate invoicing
• Data entry, keying of invoice information
• Follow schedule for collection process on past-due accounts (Phone calls, e-mails, faxing)
• Update Customer records in CRM software
• Maintain, organize, and file paper records where applicable.
• Work with Sales team to resolve accounting issues
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, working knowledge of basic accounting and CRM systems.
• Product Knowledge; quickly learn and maintain a level of basic knowledge of our products.
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Other tasks and responsibilities as needed

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 2 years' experience in AR can substitute for educational requirement
• Experience with customer service and client communication
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to create and edit Excel spreadsheets
• Computer Skills: MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, CRM and Accounting Software experience
