UHS is Hiring a Human Resources Generalist Near WEST ALLIS, WI

Responsibilities

We are looking for looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our new team.

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for all human resources functions. This role will primarily be responsible for recruiting (internal and external), pre-employment processes, maintenance of employee files and new employee orientation but can include EEO1 report, employee recognition, and data entering employee changes into HRIS system, processing wage garnishments, updating position and evaluation grid, employment verification, worker’s compensation, leave of absences (general, education, medical, FMLA, Military, administrative leaves), benefits (administration locally/reports), OSHA log, employee training, employee relations job descriptions/evaluations, compensation analysis, disciplinary database, and unemployment compensation. 

The Human Resources Generalist will report directly to the Human Resources Director.

Qualifications

The Human Resources Generalist position requires:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related area is required. 

Experience: A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years human resources generalist experience is required. Solid grounding in base human resources competencies with an emphasis in recruitment and employee engagement. Health care experience is preferred.

Licensure/Certification: PHR or SPHR is preferred.
