U.S. Merchants is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Beverly, CA
Job Responsibilities -
Research discrepancies with documentation (ie. purchase orders, vendor invoices, etc.) for ensuring accuracy
Ensure correct payments are made in a timely manner
Review handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account
Analyze expense reports and other invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment
Generate checks for signature by reviewing backup support and applicable records
Maintain various fiscal information, files, and records to provide up to date reference and audit trail.
Ensure proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records
Clarify questionable items, prices, or discrepancies and compare with system;
Working with Purchasing Managers; follow up with warehouse on other questions as they arise;
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience -
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong data entry and computer skills; experience with Accounting software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
