Job Summary:

The Electrical Project manager will drive success as an integral part of TUDI Mechanical Systems Commercial Electrical Department. The Electrical Project Manager would oversee, plan and lead projects from concept to install. The successfully candidate is a clear communicator, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities: 

• Meet with external clients to gain a complete understanding of scope of work after successful bid
• Evaluate project’s technical requirements to ensure resource availability and allocation
• Understanding of the work and technologies involved in each project
• Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage the relationships with customers, and vendors
• Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
• Coordinate scheduling with customer and assist in internal scheduling of project items
• Meet with internal teams to communicate expectations
• Oversee the project and follow up accordingly with all parties involved
• Ensure that code and safety regulation standards are enforced at all times
• Act as technical advisor to field teams
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Manage all costs on job and overall profitability
• Creating list of materials and put together change orders for clients
• Provide weekly profitability and status updates on projects
• Ensure work is delivered as promised; perform a meeting with customer; provide proper documentation and training to customer once job is complete
• Hold regular meetings to review completed, active and future jobs

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or applicable electrical experience
• Strong commercial electrical knowledge required
• 5-10 years of Electrical Project management experience.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
