We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical projects from start to finish. This includes project scheduling, materials ordering, buyout of material and subcontracts, contract management, job cost tracking, and ensuring successful project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of electrical projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution
- Develop project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progression
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment needed for project completion
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Conduct site visits to inspect work progress and address any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with the construction team to resolve any design or installation challenges
- Ensure that all work is completed within budget and meets quality standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including schematics, drawings, and change orders
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
- Proficiency in excel, word, adobe, etc.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with estimating software such as mcCormick is a plus
-Previous Project Management education or courses preferred.
