PROJECT MANAGER
American Handiwork Inc. is a national construction brand servicing the larger Pittsburgh area. We are accepting applications for a project manager in our Firm to help lead residential projects. We strive to make AHI a rewarding, exciting place to work. For this job responsibilities include bidding/managing projects, preparing necessary project documents, and representing the company to clients, contractors, and other employees. Familiarity with project management is a must. This position is 50% virtual/50% jobsite based.
Day in the Life: Project Managers are the operational leaders of our Firm. PMs meet with clients, bid projects, compose project documents, and lead the project team. A PM is responsible for knowing all our products and services and helping guide the client to their dream outcome throughout the whole project and ensuring quality work is performed.
Job duties:
Be the front face of AHI, and provide high-quality customer care to all clients;
Meet clients in the field to discuss projects, take specs/pictures, and prepare proposal documents;
Maintain constant contact with clients over an ongoing project;
Manage/oversee ongoing projects working directly with other employees and contractors;
Participate in ongoing market research as directed;
Respond to leads;
Prepare basic weekly and monthly reports;
Understand and promote various company services;
Prepare and submit materials list for orders;
Assist with maintaining client records with company software;
Effectively communicate with supervisor and working crews.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/G.E.D; Associates/Bachelors Degree a Plus
Driver’s License;
5 years field experience in drywall, electric, framing, plumbing, or remodeling;
3 years in project management;
3 years experience in sales (preferred);
1 years experience in multi-unit remodels a Plus;
Experience in using a computer and Office Products.
