TTEC is Hiring a Staffing Manager Near Orlando, FL

Staffing Manager

The Staffing Manager maintains oversight of required staffing to ensure optimal headcount to properly manage the operation. The staffing manager must ensure all staffing obligations are fulfilled daily. This position is 80% in the field working with the customer and employees at assigned locations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Determine optimal staffing levels and work with the Senior P&C representative to ensure recruitment needs are conveyed to the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Leverage scheduling software to actively help coordinate fulfillment of vacated shifts/positions.
  • Ability to be on-call for after business hour calls and scheduling modifications in emergency escalation situations.
  • Work closely with HR resource in the office to timely process employee employment needs.
  • Communicate all terminations and approved hires with staffing call center and administer these changes in the HRIS platform.
  • Ensuring employees are accurately added to the biometric devices to ensure punch in actions.
  • Interviewing of toll collector candidates, supervisors, and custodians.
  • Ensure consistent accuracy of database and file information by updating HRIS system.
  • Maintain routine and ongoing records of employee performance/actions.
  • Communicate escalated HR concerns to the HR resource in the office.
  • Must adhere to 80% of time in field at assigned toll facilities by visiting them daily.
  • Following employee performance and administering disciplinary actions when necessary, including employee terminations.
  • Participates in meetings as needed to align with status of operation, headcount needs, etc...
  • Respond to service center escalations on last minute call outs or openings.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and experience with staffing large groups of employees
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with recruiting, payroll, employee relations, and progressive discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with operations, workforce management, scheduling and staffing, and employee management.
  • Experience with Kronos, Dimensions, Oracle HRIS systems a plus

Proficiencies:

  • Possess ability to work with MS Office and a working knowledge of HRIS including Payroll, Time and Attendance
  • Understanding of employment law, employee rights, payroll and benefits and COBRA
  • Must have the ability to work independently with support from corporate and/or regional offices
  • Strong oral and written communication and proven organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and accurate
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Final candidates for this position will need to successfully complete criminal background, and drug screening.
